Job Description

FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, Mon.-Fri.

 

Job Summary:

Cleans, sterilizes and assembles hospital equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.   Stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to learn inventory control software.  Ability to read, understand and apply information contained in written procedures and MSD sheets. 

Preferred:  Previous experience in central supply.  Training in LEAN principles for inventory management. 

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

CS Certification or within six (6) months of hire. 

Important Notes

 Must be CS certified or within six (6) months of hire.  Willing to train.
