RN Outpatient Special Procedures - PT
PT w/Benefits, 48 hrs/pp, .6 FTE; varied days/evenings.
The wound care nurse evaluates and manages patients with wounds caused by disease, accidents, or surgical incisions. The wound care nurse will work with medical team to assess and monitor a patient’s progress during the healing phase and treat and skin infections or conditions as directed by the attending physician. In addition, the nurse must care for areas surrounding feeding tubes and surgical re-bandaging applications and must do wound assessment.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Valid/unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in State of Washington.
?Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Minimum two years of RN experience
?Current board certification in Wound Care Nursing
?Current BLS (AHA).
?ACLS, PALS within 1 year of hire.
?Ability to provide clinical reasoning; decision-making and critical thinking.
Ability to promote compassion and therapeutic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills at the staff, patient and family levels.
?Ability to maintain quality-working relationship with peers.
?Strong computer skills.
Licensure & Certifications Requirements
Must have BLS upon time of hire or within 30 days of employment.
BLS, ACLS, PALS
