Job Description

FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE, days, Mon.-Fri., 8AM-5PM, hours may vary at times. 

Job Summary:

The CMA is responsible for assisting clinicians in providing medical care, this position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills necessary to provide appropriate patient care in an occupational health setting.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED.

Graduation from a recognized training program for Medical Assistants.

General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems.

1-2 years clinical experience required.1 year experience in occupational health preferred.

Knowledge of state workers comp laws, OSHA requirements and other occupational health regulations preferred.

Bi-literate in Spanish/English preferred.

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants.

Requires current Washington State DOH Medical Assistant-Certified credential.

Certified spirometry, audiometry and drug test collection required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
